The ideal candidate will possess the ability to manufacture close-tolerance special, parts to blueprint using conventional Bridgeport type milling machines, conventional lathes, jig bore/ jig grinders and surface grinders. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and MUST have his own tools. The ideal candidate will be able to hold tolerances within .0002”. Five years of experience is preferred. Must have own transportation.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector with a strong aptitude for mathematics and a solid working knowledge of precision measurement tools including calipers, indicators, gage blocks, and micrometers. Familiarity with the A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Standard is a strong plus. The successful candidate will verify that manufactured products meet established quality standards, document inspection results, and collaborate with production teams to maintain high product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, indicators, micrometers, gage blocks, etc.) to ensure product dimensions meet required tolerances.
Interpret and apply technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records.
Identify, document, and communicate non-conformances to appropriate personnel.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in machining, manufacturing, or quality control preferred.
Strong mathematical skills, including geometry and trigonometry, for dimensional calculations.
Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools (calipers, indicators, gage blocks, micrometers, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Working knowledge of GD&T preferred.
Understanding of A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Standard is a strong plus.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Dorsey is looking for a candidate, who has basic blueprint reading skills, is patient and creative. This person must have the drive and determination to work with manual machines and should have basic manual mill, lathe and grinding experience. This candidate must be willing to hone the skills over a 3-5 year period to hold tight tolerances within .0002”. Minimal experience necessary. Tools are not provided and will be an additional investment over time.

This person will be responsible for assembling small and delicate parts and/or products using basic hand tools and effective motor skills/mechanical dexterity. This person will utilize mathematics to determine appropriate sizing of components required for such assembly and perform basic quality inspection of completed part to ensure it is to specifications. They will utilize prints or schematics to complete assembly to desired results. Candidate must be able to lift 45 lbs. Must have own transportation.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stock Clerk to join our inventory and materials team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our stock by managing transfers, counts, and work order assignments using an ERP/MRP system.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels
Pull and issue parts/materials to work orders
Process internal stock transfers and reconcile records
Count, organize, and fill inventory bins
Receive purchased parts and enter them into the system
Close completed work orders in inventory software
Qualifications:
Self-starter with strong organizational skills
Detail-oriented with ability to work independently
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
Ability to read work orders and follow detailed procedures
Reliable transportation required
Capable of lifting up to 45 lbs
Preferred Experience:
